VISITING?

HERE'S WHAT TO EXPECT:

Parking: There is parking next to the church and across the street at the JMMY Center.

Accessibility: We have a wheelchair ramp to the front door, and there are spaces for a wheelchair in the back and in the front right side of the church. Large-print Bibles and bulletins are available, and speakers use microphones to be heard.

Dress: Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. People come to worship in a wide range of attire.

Worship: Our typical worship service consists of three basic components: singing, prayer, and preaching. We sing a mixture of traditional hymns led on organ/piano and newer songs led on guitar. For prayer, we often have a time for anyone to share “joys and concerns.” During the sermon, a passage from the Bible is explained and applied to real life. On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate communion, which is open to anyone who is a believer in Jesus.

Offering: Every week we collect an offering to support the ministry of the church and/or other missions. There is an invitation but no expectation or pressure to give.

Time: Our worship services are 1 1/2 hours or under.

Children: Kids are important to us! Children age 4 through 2nd grade are invited downstairs for an activity during the sermon. When the weather is nice, they sometimes play outside during this time.

After worship we serve coffee and refreshments for anyone who would like to stay and talk (Once Covid counts get better again).
